It's your sins that have cut you off from God.

Almost every day we hear of people suffering the consequences of their words and actions. They carelessly say and do things with no thought for others, thinking that they are free to do as they please. However, this eventually catches up with them and they are made to suffer for their actions. Sometimes consequences may not happen immediately, but when they do, they can be harsh and have lasting and devastating results.

As believers, we must be mindful about everything we say and do as sin separates us from God and sends us on a downward spiral. It is a terrible thing to be disconnected from God. Thankfully, there is a solution. In His Word, God has given us clear and detailed guidelines for righteous living and if we adhere to this, we can avoid sinning and the consequences that would inevitably follow. With His help, we can stay on the right path, make wise choices and avoid the pitfalls of sin.

Thank you Lord for Your guidance. Help me to make right and wise decisions so that I can refrain from wrongdoing and ultimately, the painful and lasting consequences. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
