Bible Verse for March 7th.

Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armour of God's righteousness.

Ephesians 6:14
NLT Bible

It takes courage to stand up for our convictions, the things we know to be true, right and noble. Many times, we may have to stand alone while those around us conform to what the crowd is doing, but we are blessed when we have the courage to be true to our convictions. Today everyone, especially our young people are being pulled in every direction with so many worldly and immoral things vying for their attention and even though they know that these things are wrong, they lack the courage to be true to their beliefs.

A major part of the difficulty in standing firm and faithful is that everything appears blurred. Things that are wrong are painted in favourable and appealing ways and it becomes easy to be a part of it. We must stand our ground and wrap ourselves in truth and righteousness and urge our young people to do the same. It may be difficult and we may be ostracized and even ridiculed by those who want to see us compromise our convictions, but as we take that first step, God equips us with His strength and courage and it becomes easier and easier to stand our ground.

Thank you Lord for Your strength. I pray that I will always have the courage to be true to my convictions, to stand up for what is right and noble, even if it means doing it alone. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
