Bible Verse for February 27th.

........So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.

We are called to live as children of light, doing what is good and right and true. Every word and action must reflect the love, mercy, grace, compassion and goodness of Almighty God. As believers, we may witness to others telling them of the need to make Jesus their Lord and Saviour and that's what we should do, but what really makes the impact is what people are seeing in our lives. Are we living according to the precepts of God and is He evident in our lives?

People may never read a Bible or go to church, but they're watching us, observing the way we live to see if our words match our actions. Everything matters....the way we speak to others, how we treat our children, our parents, our attitude towards others at work, in the stores, on the roads and our honesty and integrity in the everyday things we do. When we let our lights shine for God, our actions convey that there's no greater joy than being in a relationship with Him. We can't do it on our own. As we fellowship with God, we are strengthened and edified and this helps us to live as we should. People are looking at us and we must let our lights shine brightly for God.

Thank you Lord for Your love. Help me to live a life that is good and right and true. My desire is to always let my light shine for you and to be an effective and worthy witness of Your love and grace. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
