Bible Verse for February 19th.

We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can't take our riches with us.

Ecclesiastes 5:15
NLT Bible

When we come to the end of our lives, we will leave this world empty-handed in the same way we entered. Everything we have accumulated will be left behind and all that really matters will be where we spend eternity. We all want to have nice things in life, enough money to live comfortably and take care of our family and there's nothing wrong with that. However, if we covet wealth and make it the focus of our lives, spending every moment pursuing it, our relationship with God takes a back seat.

God wants us to prosper in every area of our lives. When He blesses us, we are expected to use what He's given us to bless others in return. The intent is never to hoard everything for ourselves. Each day is an opportunity to draw closer to God, to deepen our walk with Him, to serve Him, to be kind and compassionate and reach out to minister to those around us. Our priorities must be right. We don't have to chase after wealth. In the end, it will ultimately be left behind. When we put God first, He will bless and prosper us. Our relationship with Him is all that really matters.

Thank you Lord for providing for me. My relationship with you is all that matters and may I use all You've blessed me with to be of service to others. Lord, help me to never get caught up in the quest for riches. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
