Indeed the 'right time' is now. Today is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2
NLT Bible
It's a simple message. Today is the perfect time to acknowledge our sins, ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour of our lives. Many people have heard the Good News year after year and even though the need for a personal relationship with Jesus resonates within their spirits, they keep procrastinating and the reasons vary from person to person. Some believe that a life with God would put an end to the things they enjoy while others feel they're young and there's a lot of time. The fact is there's no time like the present and tomorrow may be too late.
The signs are all around us. Jesus is coming soon and procrastination can be disastrous for many. Some may argue that they've been hearing this for as long as they can remember, but everything points to His imminent coming. After awhile, it's easy to become desensitized to the gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit alerting us to our need of God. Tragedy can hit us when we least expect it and we must be ready. It's important to not let another minute go by without acknowledging our need of God. The greatest joy we can experience in life comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Him as Saviour is the best decision anyone can make.
Thank you Lord for Your forgiveness. Today, I confess my sins and acknowledge you as Saviour and Lord of my life. From now on, with Your help, I purpose to live in a manner that's pleasing and acceptable to you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
Be Blessed!
