Every day we are faced with decisions and many of us could have avoided mistakes if we had turned to God for direction. He cares for us and is concerned about every single thing we do, not just some of the things. We are to seek His will in all our endeavours and trust and rely on His wisdom, power and guidance. We cannot do it alone, because when we do, things go amiss. A lot of disappointment, frustration and failure can be averted if we seek the will of God. Sometimes the problem lies within ourselves. We believe that we are self reliant and can do things on our own or we may be so set in our ways and don't realize that God may want us to go in another direction.

We need to recognize that God knows best and as His children, our dependence must be on Him alone for everything in our lives. Doors may close, opportunities may pass us by, but if we are seeking and trusting Almighty God, then we can be assured that all will be well. The right opportunity will present itself, the perfect door will open and every step we take will be ordered by God himself. We must be in an ongoing relationship with God, seeking Him daily through prayer and His Word, receiving strength and direction. We don't have to figure things out for ourselves. All we need to do is to acknowledge God and let him direct our path.

Thank you Lord for leading and guiding me. May I always seek Your will in all that I do and never rely on my own judgement. I bring all my plans, concerns and endeavours and ask for Your direction. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
