Oftentimes we are praying about different needs in our lives, but it seems our prayers just go unanswered. Our reactions may vary. We may throw our hands up in despair, thinking that God has forgotten us, we may become angry or despondent, be prone to self-pity, question our faith and some of us may even stop praying. As children of Almighty God, we must never give in to these negative emotions. We are to keep on trusting our God. He always hears our prayers and will answer, in His perfect time.

What's important is our attitude as we wait. We are to keep on believing, trusting, having faith, hoping, praying and thanking God for hearing and answering our prayers. We must live in hope. God will surely answer and our needs will be met.........healing is coming, our children will come back to God, a new job is on the horizon, our finances will improve and 'shut doors' will open. We all want immediate answers, but it doesn't always happen that way. However, one thing we know for sure is that God will answer. As we wait, we must persevere in prayer, live in expectancy, relinquish doubt and negative thoughts and keep on trusting God. The answer is on its way.

Thank you Lord that You are my God. You know the desires of my heart and I pray that with Your help, I will keep on trusting, believing and hoping for the answer, which will surely come. Help me to have a good attitude. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
