Bible Verse for November 21st.

For we are each responsible for our own conduct.

Galatians 6:5
NLT Bible

Our lives would be so much easier if we focused on our own conduct and not on what other people are doing. Sometimes we can get caught up in the behaviour of those around us, wishing they would act differently, maybe do things the way we are doing them, but that is not our duty. We cannot control what people do, not even those who are closest to us, but we can control our reaction to them. The only control we have is over our own behaviour. All our efforts should be geared towards being the best that we can be.

As believers, this means living holy, pleasing and acceptable lives, making fellowship with God a priority, treating others with compassion and kindness and serving Him in any capacity that we can. We will one day be called to give an account of our actions to God and it's important to remember that it's a personal account. We don't have to speak for our spouses, children, siblings or friends. God just wants to know what we have personally done for Him and how we have behaved. When we fully grasp this, we realize that we must use our time here on earth to be the best that we can be for God. We can pray for others, but we cannot change them. We just have to let our actions and conduct speak for us.

Thank you Lord for saving me. Help me to live a life that's pleasing and acceptable to you, to let my conduct reflect you alone. Let me not waste the precious time You've given me to change people to fit my mould, but to use every minute to serve and honour you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
