Bible Verse for November 20th.

But as for me and my family, we will serve The Lord.

As followers of God, our desire should be to see every member of our family serving Him. This verse should be the prayer of our hearts. Some of our family members may not be serving God right now, but our words are powerful and we need to declare and affirm this promise daily. As we do this, things happen as God honours our faithfulness and begins to work on our behalf.
We must do our part and live exemplary lives, allowing our loved ones to see us being faithful, kind, honest and trustworthy. They need to see us respect God by spending time in prayer and fellowship with Him. Our children should be so touched by our service and devotion to God that they would want to serve Him too. They may not be reading the Bible, but they are watching us and paying close attention to how we live.

We should not get discouraged by what we are seeing in the 'natural' and give up on prayer for our family. We just need to keep on persevering in prayer and claiming the promise that our family will serve God. We don't know when it will happen or how it will happen, but we can entrust them to a loving and caring God and know that our prayers will not go unanswered.

Thank You God for my family. Lord, my desire is to serve you all the days of my life and to see each family member do the same. Help me Lord to be a godly example and may my life reflect You. Lord, I affirm today, 'that as for me and my house', we will serve The Lord. Thank You Lord for answered prayer. I love You Jesus. Amen!
