For He (God) knows the secrets of every heart.

At any given time, there are so many thoughts swirling around in our minds. Sometimes they can be happy and then at times, they can be thoughts filled with pain, heartache and despair. At times like these, we feel the need to curl up in a corner and cry because no one understands. There is no need for this, because God understands and cares. There's nothing we can hide from Him. He knows every thought, struggle, heartache and pain that we have buried deep inside of us and He wants us to come to Him, unburden ourselves and be free and liberated from the heavy load of our heartrending thoughts.

Sometimes, we have difficulty expressing these thoughts to those who are closest to us and so we keep them bottled up inside of us and this ultimately affects us physically, emotionally and spiritually. Jesus is the answer. He knows the secrets of our hearts and wants us to share our innermost thoughts with Him. People may not understand and may pity, judge and condemn us, but God identifies and empathizes with us. When we open up to Him and reveal what He already knows, the weight is lifted off our shoulders and we experience freedom and liberty. We no longer need to be prisoners of hopelessness and despair. Because of Jesus, peace now fills our hearts and minds.

Thank you Lord for knowing my innermost thoughts. I bring every anxious and troubling thought that fills my mind and I surrender it to you. I pray that You will fill me with Your peace. I love you Jesus. Amen!
