Bible Verse for October 20th.

Exalt The Lord our God and worship at His footstool; He is holy!

Psalm 99:5
NIV Bible

People are different and we each have our unique way of worshipping God. Some of us may be very vocal, while others may just worship quietly, but what really matters is that our worship comes from the heart and is reflected in our words and actions. When we worship God, we are showing our reverence, adoration and praise for who He is, the One who is worthy of all honour and glory. There is no specific time or place for worshipping God. As His followers, we should desire to worship God all the time....when we get up in the morning, throughout the day, before going to bed and even during the night.

When we worship God, it is evident in our lives by the things we say and do and by the way we treat others. We need to worship and adore God in good times and in bad times, when we're happy or sad, discouraged or confident. There's power and strength in worship. It draws us closer to God and our spirits are uplifted and edified. We were created to worship and God's desire is for us to worship Him in spirit and in truth, with our entire beings and not just to engage in empty, ritualistic and meaningless 'man made' traditions.

Thank you Lord for Your goodness and love. I worship and adore you, Almighty God. You alone are worthy of all honour, glory and praise. Lord, let my worship be evident in my words and actions. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
