Sometimes we just meander through life forgetting to thank God for His goodness and mercy towards us when we are so indebted to Him and should never neglect to thank and praise Him. All that we are and all that we have accomplished comes from Almighty God. We need to thank Him for His guidance, protection, love, mercy, for the air we breathe and for creation itself. God deserves our thanks for watching over our family, for leading and guiding them and meeting their needs. Our physical abilities, skills, the food we enjoy and our possessions all come from Him. We can also thank God for healing us, if it's a miraculous healing or if it's through medicine. In whatever way it comes, it's all from Him.

There are so many things to thank God for and we must never be negligent in our praise and gratitude to Him. Even when things are amiss, there's always something to be grateful for. One of the things we should always thank God for is sending His Son to die for our sins and for the promise of eternal life. When we forget to thank God, we show ourselves to be unappreciative and ungrateful for the many blessings He has freely bestowed on us and we also discredit our testimony as His children. Our God is the Giver of all we have and we should never cease to thank Him.

Thank you Lord for Your many blessings. All that I have is a gift from you and I thank you for it. I thank you for life, for being able to see, talk, walk and work. I thank you for always being with me, in both good and bad times and for providing for my every need. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
