Bible Verse for June 23rd.

For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.

Many of us can attest to God's protection during difficult and trying times in our lives. During those times it seemed as if someone was physically there leading and guiding us, only to vanish as soon as the threat of imminent danger and harm was gone. We were unable to explain it, but acknowledged it as divine intervention from God himself. As children of God, we have the assurance of God's protection at all times and we need to claim this promise and thank God for the ministry of His angels. Psalm 34:7 tells us that the angel of God guards, surrounds and defends all who fear God.They are always ready to deliver us from any perilous situations we may encounter.

There's no denying that evil lurks in many forms around us and God, because of His infinite love for us, has His angels ready to help us. We cannot live as hermits, refusing to 'live' in the real world. As His children, we can go about our daily activities with the assurance that God is watching over us and will keep us safe from the darts of the enemy. The Bible tells us that when Daniel was thrown in the lion's den, God sent angels to shut the mouths of the lions and Daniel and his friends were delivered. This promise holds true for us today. God did it then and He continues to do it now. Our job is to acknowledge God as our Saviour and Lord, obey Him and continually speak His protection over our lives and the lives of our loved ones and friends. The angels of God are all around us, ready to alert and keep us safe from danger.

Thank you Lord for Your ministering angels, for your protection and for keeping me safe. I don't know what lies ahead of me today, but I know that You are watching over me and if danger threatens, You will order Your angels to protect me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
