Bible Verse for June 1st.

Then I heard The Lord asking, "Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?" I said, "Here I am, send me."

Isaiah 6:8
NLT Bible

God is looking for faithful people who will be willing to go wherever He leads to spread the gospel. As His children, our desire should be to share the Good News with everyone. We are living in perilous times and there are people everywhere who need a Saviour, but how will they know Him if we are not willing to tell them about Him. It's not enough to have the desire to see people come to Jesus. We have to be willing to do something about it. We simply cannot leave it up to the other person.

It does not always entail going to another country. God may just want to use us in our community, our workplace, local shelters, retirement homes or schools. The reality is, people all around us need Jesus and we must be ready to 'step up to the plate' and get busy for God. We cannot continue to be complacent, to make excuses and to feign busyness. We may feel insecure and scared, but when we are willing to go where God sends us, He equips us with the knowledge, courage and strength to witness and minister effectively. There is no greater or more rewarding task than telling others about Jesus. He is calling out to us and we need to reply, "Here I am, Lord, send me." This should be the mindset of every believer.

Thank you Lord for saving me. Lord, today, I hear you calling out to me and I say, "here I am, use me." Help me to shake off laziness and complacency and get busy telling others about Your love, mercy and grace. Above all, let my life reflect you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
