People may worship many things, but as children of God, we are created to worship Him alone. Many equate worship with being in church and having someone lead them into worship, while great music is played. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but true worship is glorifying God in all that we do in our daily lives, coming from hearts filled with love, praise and gratitude to Almighty God. When we worship God, we are immersed in His Presence and what's on the inside of us becomes evident in our outward appearance. We radiate joy, peace and love.

In John 4:23, Jesus tells us that the time is now to worship the Father in spirit and in truth. We do this by living daily in obedience to God, by letting our lives reflect Him, by surrendering to Him and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and 'broken' in His Presence. True worship comes from the heart and is not passive. It's active and this is seen in the way we live. When we recognize that worshiping God is a lifestyle, everything changes. We begin to honour and glorify God in all that we say and do and that, in essence, is true worship emanating from a heart filled with love for our Heavenly Father.

Thank you Lord for loving me. You are great and holy and worthy to be praised and I worship and adore you, Lord Jesus. Help me to glorify and honour you in all that I do and say. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
