It is good to give thanks to The Lord, to sing praises to the Most High; It is good to proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning, Your faithfulness in the evening.

It's such a wonderful thing to give thanks to God and to praise Him for all He has done for us. So many times, we get up in the morning and we start our day off by complaining.... about the weather, our job, our colleagues, our aches and pains before first thanking God for watching over us during the night and allowing us to wake to see a new day.... one filled with opportunities. Some of us can attest to being guilty of doing this occasionally.
What a difference it would make in our lives if we can begin each day by first giving thanks to God for His faithfulness, His abundant love for us and His guidance and protection. We may be sick, have problems at work, be stressed or coping with numerous difficulties, BUT starting the day by giving thanks, praise and adoration to God is the first step towards overcoming all the trials in our lives. However, most important of all, as God's children, it's thanking and praising Him for who He is..... Our Heavenly Father and acknowledging Him as our Saviour and Lord.
Thank You Lord for keeping me safe during the night. Thank You for this brand new day you have allowed me to see. I thank You that You are faithful and that You watch over me and I have the assurance that You will never leave me nor forsake me. I surrender all to You, Lord Jesus... My life, my health, my finances, my children, my job.. everything in my life. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
