Life is unpredictable. Unexpected and even bad things happen and so often we miss out on golden opportunities that come our way to do or say the things that we should. Many times it's because we're tired, overworked, busy or simply believe that we can do it another time. Sadly enough, we may never have that opportunity. Firstly, we should never forget our fellowship with Almighty God. It should be our first priority. Then, as His children, it's our duty to share the Good News of Jesus with those who need a Saviour, making sure that our lives reflect Him.
We need to make every moment count and live in a constant attitude of thankfulness, gratitude and appreciation for the people in our lives. We should never miss the opportunity to forgive someone, to repair or restore a broken relationship, to let someone know how much they matter to us and how much we love them. We need to look for ways to show kindness and compassion to those around us. Sometimes, it's as easy as a kind word or gesture, a phone call, an email to say we care and that we understand and we're available. We must seize every moment that God has given us and make it count for love, goodness and righteousness. All we are guaranteed in this life is this moment and we need to live wisely and make the most of it.
Thank you Lord for this moment. Help me to make it count. Let me never miss an opportunity to show Your love to someone, to forgive, to care, to be kind and most of all, to glorify You, by my words and actions. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
