Bible Verse for March 28th.

To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O, my God, I trust in You!

Psalm 25:1
NKJ Bible

In this verse, David is lifting up his soul to God in total surrender, placing all his trust in Him. So many times, this is all we can do when we feel weighed down by circumstances and trials in our lives. We need to give ourselves over and over again to God, knowing that in Him, we find the strength we need to carry on. As we lift up our souls to God, we are actually coming to Him with our entire being, baring all our emotions, bringing our pain and hurt and trusting Him to forgive, protect, guide and deliver us.

When we give ourselves wholly to God, what we are actually saying, is that even though we don't understand what's happening to us, why we are facing this crisis or maybe why this relationship is falling apart, we trust God, no matter what the outcome. As we give our lives to God, we are relinquishing everything that is troubling us and lifting up our souls in gratitude, praise, thankfulness, love, adoration, hope and most of all, trust in our Heavenly Father.

Thank you Lord for always being there for me. I lift up my soul to you, Lord, and I trust in You. No matter what happens, I know that You will always be with me. I surrender everything to You. I love you Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
