Bible Verse for February 10th.

Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favour as with a
shield.
Psalm 5:12

As children of God, we can begin each day with hope and expectation because God's
favour surrounds us. However, we need to do our part by acknowledging it and speaking
it over our lives. Difficulties and trials will still come our way, but because the favour of
Almighty God surrounds us like a shield, we can expect to get through it victoriously.

In the Bible we have many examples of people who experienced the favour of God in
difficult circumstances. Ruth was widowed and alone, but found God's favour while
gleaning for wheat and He gave her a new husband. Joseph was sold into slavery, but was
promoted because God allowed him to find favour with Pharaoh. Whatever we're facing,
if we can hold on to God's promises and claim His favour each day, we can expect good
things to happen anytime, anywhere and in situations that seem insurmountable. As we
learn to walk in God's favour, we can expect 'doors' that were once shut to open and
blessings to flow in unexpected and tangible ways.

Thank you Lord for Your favour that surrounds me like a shield. I claim it today and
expect great things to happen in my life. Thank you for answered prayer. I love you,
Jesus. Amen!
