Bible Verse for January 26th.
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
NLT Bible
We all experience seasons in our lives. It's inevitable. We go through seasons of joy,
sadness, grief, happiness, good health and sometimes poor health. There's a time for
everything, from the day we are born to the day we die. We have no control over some of
the things that happen, but we have the obligation to live responsibly and wisely while we
are here on earth.
Seasons are not permanent. There is a start and an end. Some of the seasons in our lives
may be filled with pain, sickness, grief and heartache and we yearn for them to be over,
but if we recognize that God is in control and He is with us, holding us in the palm of His
hand, refining and strengthening us, we can be assured that a new and brighter season
will surface. New things will take place and our sadness will be replaced with joy and
laughter.
Each new season gives us an opportunity to grow, to learn, to serve, to forgive, to love
and respect each other more, to make amends and to love and serve God more fervently.
Thank you Lord for always being with me. Help me to understand that when I go through
seasons of pain and distress, You are there with me. I know that it will pass and a new
season will dawn. I love you, Lord Jesus. Amen!
Be Blessed!
Lydia
