Bible Verse for January 12th.
God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they
did.
Romans 4:17
NKJ Bible
We all face situations that, at times seem hopeless. We pray, but wonder if its going to
get better. In fact, it might even appear to be getting worse. This is when we need to keep
on persevering in prayer until we get our answer. God had promised Abraham that he
would make him a father of many nations. He was an old man and so was his wife, but he
took God at His Word, trusted in Him, even though he couldn't see it in the 'natural' and
God gave him a son and as promised, Abraham became the father of many nations.
There may be a lot of things that we are praying for today. We need to visualize the
answer to our prayers, speak it and call it into being. Maybe we're dealing with sickness,
then speak good health continually, claiming the promises of God while seeing ourselves
well and strong. Maybe it's an ongoing struggle with mounting debt, then speak financial
freedom. We may have children who are not serving God, visualize them active in God's
service and thank Him for it, as we continue to pray for them. If it's a relationship that
needs restoring, envision it renewed and whole and keep speaking 'life' into it. Whatever
the situation, we need to have an unshakeable faith and believe that God will turn it
around. He desires to see us whole, happy and prosperous in every area of our lives. We
have to believe it too.
Thank you Lord for Your promises. You know what I'm facing and I thank You for
answered prayer. I trust you, Lord Jesus and I know that even though things seem to be
going wrong at this time, You will answer me and that all things will work out. I love you
Jesus. Amen!
Be Blessed!
Lydia
