This is a direct command from Jesus to love each other as He loves us. We live in an age where it has become the norm for many to dislike people based on their values and way of life. When Jesus was on earth, He gave us vivid examples of loving people. He didn't care who they were, what they believed or where they came from. He just loved them.
We need to follow the example of Jesus and love each other as He did. People will not share our belief system, they will have different opinions, ideologies and lifestyles, but we are to love them anyway. If we call ourselves followers of Jesus, our love for our fellowman will always be sincere and genuine.
Thank you Lord for loving me. Help me to love as You have loved. I pray that my love for people will deepen each day. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Thanks for this. Sometimes it can be very difficult to love those who deliberately rub you the wrong way but Love is the key.
