This verse rings true for every believer. Each day we have to make a concerted effort to live our lives walking by faith regardless of what we see around us. Our finances may be in shambles, our health may be failing, children might be backsliding, jobs are being downsized and so much more seems to be going wrong. We begin to despair and feel tempted to give up.
This is when we need to cling to our faith in God and appropriate His promises. In His Word He has promised to meet our every need, to heal and deliver us from all our difficulties. The key is not to focus on what we're seeing, but rather to move forward by faith believing that God will be true and faithful to His promises.
Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness. Things are crumbling around me, but I choose to walk by faith and not by sight. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
