Always be joyful.

In this verse we are told to be joyful at all times. Oftentimes, it's easier said than done because it's the last thing on our minds when the storms of life are beating down on us................but it's especially at these times that we need to rejoice and be joyful. It's easy to be happy and upbeat when everything is going according to our plans, but painful and difficult to manage when we feel hopeless and defeated.
As believers, we are to cling to God, trust Him and hold fast to His Word. When we do, it becomes easier to praise Him and be joyful in the midst of the most dire circumstances. We are to rejoice when we're on the mountain top enjoying life to the fullest and also when we're struggling in the valley of pain, despair and despondency.
Thank you Lord for Your joy. Help me to be joyful at all times, when everything is great and also when I'm struggling with the pressures of life. Let my eyes be always fixed on you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
