The Lord says, "I will give you back what you lost."

Joel 2:25 NLT Bible

We may have lost many things over the years.…...our peace, joy, happiness, relationships, jobs, finances and much more. Some things may be as a result of our circumstances, poor choices or disobedience to God. Whatever the reason, God has promised to restore the things we've lost. However, we have a role to play, and this means being in an ongoing relationship with God and not giving up when things are falling apart. It's holding on to Him and believing His promise to give us back what we've lost.

Oftentimes we accept our losses as our fate in life, but God's desire is to see us prosper and succeed in all areas of our lives and if we remain obedient and faithful, He will turn things around. Broken relationships will be restored. Joy, happiness and peace will fill our lives again and restoration can be ours. It may seem impossible to us, but all things are possible with Almighty God. If we will remain faithful and never give up, God will do a new thing in our lives.

Thank you, Lord, for Your promise of restoration. I've lost so much over the years, but I'm believing in your promise to give back what was lost. Help me to remain faithful and obedient as I wait. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Colossians 3:12-17 NLT

12. Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tender-hearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

13. Make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

14. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

15. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body, you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

16. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom He gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

17. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.

Exodus 14:14 NLT Bible

At any given time, people are dealing with a host of issues and problems. They spend every waking moment trying to come up with solutions and then go to bed, only to lie awake worrying about it. We don't have to live like this. If we let Him, God will fight our battles. We just need to take a step back, relinquish control, stay calm and allow God to work.

Many of us are 'fixers'. We want to solve every problem and make things better for our friends, loved ones and ourselves. In the process, we hinder God from working on the problem. When we let go and let God fight our battles, good things begin to happen. Our job is simply to give our burdens to God, bask in His Presence, stay calm and let Him work. God has the final say.

Thank you, Lord, for fighting my battles. Today, I relinquish control and my desire to fix everything on my own. I surrender it all to you and I thank you for hearing me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Isaiah 53:1-6 NKJV

1. Who has believed our report?

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2. For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3. He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4. Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
5. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way;

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.

However, He has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.

Ephesians 4:7 NLT Bible

We each have a special gift that God has so graciously given to us, and we need to make every effort to use it effectively to bless others and to glorify God. Many people think that they are not gifted with any special ability, but we all have something that we are good at. It may just be dormant inside of us, waiting to be released. We need to seek God and allow Him to bring this hidden talent to light and then use every opportunity to fully develop and perfect it.

We may have to work hard, but when we are using the God given talent that's specific to us, everything falls into place. As we make ourselves available, doors will open for us and as each day passes, we get better and better. We need to grab hold of every opportunity to use our ability to serve and to bless others. We should never try to be like someone else. All we need to do is to be thankful for whatever gift God has given us, ensure we don't 'shelve' it and just keep on using it for His glory.

Thank you, Lord, for my special ability. Help me to use it to bless and serve others and to glorify You. Let me not be envious of what someone else is doing. With Your help, I want to be the best that I can be. I love you Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Genesis 1:28-31 NIV

28. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

29. Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

30. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

31. God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
