Joyful are those who obey His laws and search for Him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in His paths.

Psalm 119:2-3 NLT Bible

When we obey God and diligently seek Him, we are filled with His joy. We still face challenges, but because our lives are rooted in Him, we have the assurance that all will be well. Sadly, we live in an age where so many people are compromising their belief and faith in God and doing things that are contrary to His Word with little or no regard to the consequences.

People compromise for many reasons. It could be a desire to fit in with the crowd, the tug of bad habits and lustful pleasures, the need to be popular or a lack of biblical knowledge regarding right and wrong. Whatever the reason, it grieves and displeases God. Left unchecked, we soon become indifferent and readily compromise the beliefs we once cherished. We need to acknowledge our mistakes and get back on the godly path. 

Thank you, Lord, for Your laws. Help me to obey them, to seek you with all my heart and walk only in Your path. In an ever-changing world, may I never compromise my beliefs. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
