Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvellous - how well I know it.

Psalm 139:14 NLT Bible

Almighty God made us in His image, and our bodies are so complex, intricately and wonderfully made. Each part complements the other and operates in total harmony. We did not come prepackaged off an assembly line. God made us to be unique, with different abilities and talents, and different in the way we look, speak and act. Just imagine every single person has a unique fingerprint. How boring it would be if we all looked the same.

We live in an age where everyone seems to be obsessed with someone else's definition of beauty and there are so many who complain about some physical feature wishing it was different and forget to appreciate how unique and special they really are. 

We need to be happy and thankful that God made us in such a wonderful way and recognize that we are amazing just as we are. God never makes mistakes and we are proof of his great workmanship. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others, wishing that we were like them and just give God praise and thanks for making us in His wonderful image.

Thank you, Lord, for making me in Your image. You made me to be unique, with special abilities and talents. Help me to never grumble about my body, but to appreciate and recognize that I am special and amazing just as I am. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
