𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫

I will praise The Lord and may everyone on earth bless His holy Name forever and ever.

Psalm 145:21 NLT Bible

When someone does something nice for us, we show our appreciation by praising them. In the same way, we need to praise God for all that He has done for us and more importantly, for who He is. We praise Him because He is our Lord and Saviour, our Healer, Deliverer, Protector, Shepherd and Provider. We thank Him because He is holy, righteous, faithful, kind, compassionate and caring. Our first words in the morning should be words of praise to Almighty God, thanking Him for His awesome goodness and His love for us and this should continue throughout the day. 

 As believers, praising God should be a way of life for us. We praise Him when we're happy, sad, dejected, discouraged, depressed or sick. In fact, we should be praising God at all times and in all circumstances in our lives. God inhabits our praises and as we worship, we are renewed and refreshed, our spirits are lifted, and we forget our problems. God is worthy of our praise and doing this allows us to enter into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Him. Praising Him also defeats the enemy and destroys strongholds in our lives. Praise honours God and we need to praise Him forever and ever.

Thank you, Lord, for Your goodness. You alone are worthy to be praised, and I worship and exalt you, Lord. I praise you because You are my Rock, my Fortress, my Healer and my Deliverer. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
