𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫

Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

James 1:6 NLT Bible

This verse cautions us to refrain from wavering and compares it to a wave that is blown to and fro by the wind. Sometimes, as children of God we behave in a similar way. We trust God, and believe that He will work in our situation, but when things get tough and there's no change, we begin to doubt and waver in our faith. We wonder if God has forgotten us, negative thoughts fill our minds, we become impatient, and instead of keeping our focus on Jesus, we turn to friends for advice and lose sight of the goodness and faithfulness of Almighty God.

We all waver at times and when we do, we become discouraged and lose our hope and peace. We make wrong decisions, take things into our own hands and ultimately miss out on what God has in store for us. 

We need to place our confidence and trust in God alone. He is the only one who will see us through to victory. As we spend time in fellowship with Him, through prayer and reading the Word, our faith will increase and when trials and difficulties come our way again, we can face them with an unwavering faith and trust in Jesus, knowing that He will work things out for our good.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for Your faithfulness. Help me to stand firm on Your promises and to never waver or doubt. I place all my trust and hope in You, Lord Jesus and know that You will work everything out for me. I love you Jesus. Amen!
