So, we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear, what can mere people do to me?"

It is such a comforting and reassuring affirmation to know that Almighty God is our helper. We don't have to succumb to fear because He is always with us, walking alongside us as we journey through life. Sometimes, our children are faced with so much dread and uncertainty about people and situations in their lives and we, as adults, need to constantly affirm this promise to them, letting them know that God is their helper.

People may try to harm and derail us, and at times, we may feel defeated, but they can never succeed, because God is our helper and He will never allow it. As children of God, we never have to live under a cloud of fear because He is with us and we can walk through life confident and unafraid. The only prerequisite is knowing, obeying and trusting God.

Thank you, Lord, for being my helper. I will not give in to fear or dread because You are always with me, guiding, protecting and fighting my battles. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
