𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫

Jesus answered them, "Healthy people don't need a doctor-sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent."

Oftentimes, as children of God we surround ourselves with fellow believers and exclude those who are sick, lost, hurting and in dire need of our help. Time and time again, in the Word of God, Jesus emphasized the fact that He came to minister to the sick, not to those who were healthy. We need to pattern ourselves after Jesus who spent His entire life on earth reaching out to those who were lost and in need of a Saviour. 

We should ask ourselves how can nonbelievers enter into a personal relationship with Jesus if we don't reach out to them, show them the love of God in tangible ways and minister to their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Jesus is concerned about the wholeness of the entire person........body, mind and soul, and we, as His children, cannot continue to sequester ourselves within the walls of our homes and churches. We must move beyond and reach out to the sick and the lost. It's our mandate from Almighty God.

Thank you, Lord, for Your saving grace. Help me to be sensitive to those who are sick and hurting. Let me use every opportunity to reach out to those around me and to share the Gospel with them. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
