So, we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Life is never smooth sailing. We encounter rough and stormy weather along the way, running the gamut from illness, financial insecurities, rebellious children and difficult relationships. Sometimes we consume ourselves with these troubles and are unable to see anything beyond them. 

As believers in Jesus Christ, we have so much to look forward to.......an eternity with Him where all the trials of this present life will be forgotten. Our life on earth is temporary. We are just passing through and one of the best things we can do is to surrender every care and concern to God and remain obedient and faithful until that glorious day when we can be with Him forever. Almighty God will take care of our problems if we learn to let go of them.

Thank you, Lord, for the promise of eternal life. Forgive me for allowing my trials to consume my life. I surrender them to you, Lord and I fix my gaze on eternity with you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
