The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart.

Psalm 28:7 NLT Bible

Many of us experience times when our trust in God is shaken. We don't understand why something so devastating is happening to us and pain intermingled with doubt and confusion fill our minds. We love God but can't come to terms with what we're experiencing. It may be the loss of a loved one, a rebellious child, ailing parents or a terminal disease and we struggle with feelings of pain, frustration and despair.

We need to trust God implicitly! He is our strength and shield, filling us with courage and protecting us from the attacks of the enemy. We are never immune from trials and losses, but if we hold fast to our faith in God and trust Him, we will get through the storms of life. We can say over and over again how much we trust God, but it must be evident in our reaction to difficulties. As we cling to God and spend time in His Presence, we learn to trust Him more and more.

Thank you, Lord, for being my strength and shield. You are faithful and I surrender all to You. I feel overwhelmed by this situation, but my trust is in You alone and I know that all will be well. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Lydia
