Unless The Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.

Psalm 127:1 NIV Bible

If we want to succeed, God has to be at the helm of everything we're doing. It's a simple, yet powerful truth. We can try to do it on our own, without seeking direction and guidance from God, but it will not come to fruition. Our efforts will ultimately result in frustration and failure. As His children, we need to be totally dependent on Him. Whatever we're building, be it our family unit, our career, a friendship, maybe a business, we must ensure that God is at the centre of it all.

We need to recognize that our Heavenly Father wants only the best for us. He wants our relationships to thrive, our careers to succeed and our business ventures to prosper, but we must do our part. What does that entail? The process involves putting God first, committing all our plans to Him and including Him in every detail, every step of the way. God is the master architect and without Him, our labour is in vain. 

Thank you, Lord, for always being there for me. I need Your guidance and direction in all that I do. Without You, Lord, everything I do is in vain. Help me to always keep You at the centre of my life. I love you Jesus. Amen!
