We've all heard people refer to someone as being their rock and support, but many times when we regard someone like that, they can often fail us. Things may happen and they are no longer around for us, and we find ourselves alone with no one to support and encourage us. We need to put our hope in God. He alone is our rock, our salvation and our fortress and because of that, nothing can shake us.

We may face situations that have the potential to knock us down, but because God is our rock, our source of support and stability, all we have to do is lean on Him. When we do, come what may, we will not crumble or topple over. God is also our salvation, and we are assured of the promise of eternal life. As our fortress, God shelters and protects us from the storms of life and the fiery darts of the enemy cannot penetrate the shield He has around us. Regardless of what we encounter, we will be victorious because of the awesome God we serve.

Thank you, Lord, for being my rock, my salvation and my fortress. I know that because of Yon, no matter what I face, I will not be moved. I cling tenaciously to You and purpose to never let You go. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
