Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.

Psalm 23:4 NLT Bible

Life does not consist of mountain top experiences alone. At some point, we all have to walk through the valleys. They may be dark and filled with despair, but as children of God, we have the assurance that He is always with us, leading and guiding as we navigate through the perilous paths. Many may be walking through a valley of sickness, fear, despair and depression. Some may be terminally ill, struggling with pain and death may be imminent and everything seems to be closing in.

Whatever the valley, we don't have to be consumed by fear and worry because God is our Shepherd, leading, guiding and protecting us and we can rest in the comfort and security of His protective arms. It may seem dark and gloomy, but as children of God, we are never alone as we go through our 'valley experiences'. Valleys are inevitable and we cannot escape them, but thankfully, God is our Shepherd and we can rely on Him for strength, comfort, help and guidance during these times.

Thank you, Lord for Your constant protection. As I walk through this valley, I know that I am never alone because You are watching over me, leading, guiding, strengthening and comforting me. I am safe and secure because of you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Lydia
