God loves us and this is one of His greatest promises to us…....eternal life with Him forever and ever. This is His gift to us when we accept Him as Lord and Saviour of our lives and enter into an ongoing relationship with Him. However, we must do our part. We have to keep on loving God, seeking after Him, doing good, obeying Him, serving others and bringing honour and glory to His Holy Name.

It doesn't happen by chance. We must make a conscious and deliberate decision to follow God, to live for Him and to make right and proper choices. There must be a deep commitment to follow God regardless of the personal cost and love for Him should be the driving force behind everything we do. Our actions should be indicative of our desire to please God. Our motive for doing good is love for Him, but our reward surpasses everything we could possibly envision and that is, the promise of being with Jesus forever. With eternity as our goal, every action should reflect the love and compassion of God.

Thank you, Lord, for the promise of eternal life. With Your help, I pray that my every word and action will reflect You. Help me to keep doing good wherever and whenever I can. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
