Don't worry about anything; Instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.

Philippians 4:6 NLT Bible

Worrying is destructive and it accomplishes nothing. Instead, it slowly eats away at us and robs us of inner peace and joy. It takes away hope as we envision the worst outcome to our situation. As children of God, we have the privilege of bringing all our concerns to Him in prayer. When we do, His peace fills our minds and we can go about our lives with the assurance that God is in control and all will be well.

Everything matters to God. We don't have to feel that our problems are too trivial for Him because He cares. When we pray, we need to always thank God for everything He’s done for us and all that He will continue to do. The devil is happy when we worry because he sees us as weak and vulnerable, and we become easy prey. We are flawed and imperfect people. We don't always have it altogether and worrying thoughts will surface. When they do, we simply give them to our great and caring God.

Thank you, Lord, for caring for me. Today, I bring these concerns to you and I thank you for all You've done for me. Thank you for Your peace. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
