From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the Name of The Lord is to be praised.

Psalm 113:3 NIV Bible

As believers, we don't have to be coerced into praising God as praises should flow effortlessly from our lips. At any given time, on any given day, there is always something to praise God for. As this verse emphasizes, we should be praising God from the rising of the sun and way into the night long after the sun sets. Oftentimes we may be weighed down by our cares and find it difficult to sing praises to God, but this is exactly when we need to do it and as we praise Him, our problems fade and we are strengthened and edified.

Praise keeps our minds centred on Almighty God as we block out negative thoughts and zero in on His goodness, greatness, faithfulness and majesty. The Bible tells us that God inhabits our praises, so it's safe to say that if He dwells in our praises, there's no room for the enemy in our lives, so he has no choice but to flee. God loves and covets our praises and as His beloved children, we need to develop a lifestyle of praise.

Thank you, Lord for Your mercies. They are new every morning and great is Your faithfulness. You are worthy to be praised and I worship and adore you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Lydia
