We live in an ever changing world where things and people are continually changing, where seasons come and go, flowers fade and grass withers, but what a reassurance to know that the Word of God does not change. It remains the same and holds God's truths and principles for living holy and pleasing lives. Many people try to 'tweak' God's Word to suit their lifestyles, but It has stood the test of time and remains pertinent and applicable to every area of our lives.

The Word of God offers us hope, comfort, strength, encouragement, guidance and assurance in a world beset with change, turmoil, unrest and daily struggles. It is divinely inspired and in it, God reveals His heart to us, giving us guidelines for living productive and purpose filled lives. His Word is our compass to guide us on the right path and keep us from veering off course. It is also our standard for righteous living and we need to ask God for discernment and wisdom to understand His truths and apply them to our lives. God's Word stands forever and we, as His children, need to be continually meditating on the Word and appropriating the promises of Almighty God.

Thank you Lord for Your Word! So many things change, but Your Word stands forever. Lord, give me wisdom and discernment to understand Your truths and apply them to my life. May I never neglect spending time in the Word. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
