This should be the desire of all children of God.....to love HIM with our entire being and to be totally consumed by our Love for Him. Some might think that this is somewhat dramatic and theatrical, but this is what God wants from us. He loves us and desires our love in return.  When we love people, it is evident through our actions and it's the same principle involved in loving God. The things we do show Him how much we love Him.

When we love Jesus with our hearts, souls, minds and all our strength, we will want to spend time in His Presence, reading His Word, praying, worshipping Him and doing all that we can to please Him. Loving God with this intense passion causes us to be active and not passive and this will be evident in the way we live and in our interactions with others. Loving God means obeying His Commandments. We should make this verse the prayer of our hearts.

Lord Jesus, I love You. My desire is to love You more and more each day. Thank You Lord, for loving me just the way I am.....with all my faults and shortcomings. I want to be consumed with my love for You Lord, to love You with my entire being. I pray that my love for You will be reflected in every area of my life. I love You, Lord Jesus. Amen!
