"Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land."

This is among one of the most quoted verses in the Bible and it's a call to prayer and seeking the face of Almighty God. We are living in a time when so much is changing and things that we know are wrong now seem to be accepted as normal. There is now a 'grey' area in terms of right and wrong, and as children of God, we can easily get caught up in lifestyles that we know are displeasing to God. The time is now for us to pray and seek God and repent of our wrong doings. He has promised that He will listen to us, forgive our sins and heal us. As we seek God, we need to read His Word and let its truth penetrate our minds and spirits. His Word is our compass and guide for righteous living.

There are many things that we may want to see changed and restored around us. It may be a broken relationship, a prodigal child, an addiction, lustful thoughts and desires or physical sickness. Whatever it is, as we come humbly before God and seek His face, confessing our wrongdoings to Him, we have His promise that He will hear and answer us.

Thank You Lord for loving me! Today, I rededicate my life to You, Lord Jesus. I bring all my struggles to You and I know that with Your strength I will be an overcomer. I pray for healing for my country, my friends, my family and myself. My desire is to live a life that's pleasing to You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
