O Lord my God, I cried out to you for help and You restored my health.

All around us, there are people who are sick and in need of healing. Thankfully God is our great Physician and Healer and He wants to see us live whole, happy and healthy lives. Our role in this is to be obedient to God and to cry out to Him with a pure and contrite heart, for healing and deliverance from whatever ails us. Sometimes, it might seem that nothing is happening, that despite all our prayers and petitions, we are still sick. We must never give up. We have to keep on trusting, believing, praying, meditating on His Word and remaining faithful. As we continue to wait on God for healing, we thank Him in anticipation of what He will do for us.

The Bible tells us that we are to pray one for another, so that we may be healed. This means that even though we need healing, we take the focus off ourselves and pray for others who are in need. As we do this, God begins to work on our behalf. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever and what He has promised, we can be assured He will do. We need to cry out to Almighty God, to worship and praise Him, to keep Him at the centre of our lives, to claim and appropriate His promises for our lives, knowing that He hears our cries and will answer. We cannot give up. Healing is on its way.

Thank you, Lord, that You are the great Physician. Lord, You know everything and today I cry out to you for healing from this ailment that plagues me. I pray for those who need a healing touch from You, and I claim Your promises of healing and deliverance. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
