But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favouritism and is always sincere.

We can never get enough of God's wisdom. Each day our prayer should be that God would fill us to overflowing with His wisdom that is pure, peace loving, gentle, caring, unbiased and sincere. We cannot rely on our own limited wisdom. When we do, we make bad decisions that negatively impact our lives and our testimony as followers of Jesus.

We need spiritual wisdom in everything we say and do. A cursory glance at posts on social media can show evidence of our lack of godly wisdom. When we like or share posts that are not edifying and uplifting, we are perpetuating existing problems and adding fuel to already volatile situations. This is displeasing to God. Godly wisdom must shape and drive our thoughts, words and actions and this verse provides an excellent checklist for us. God's wisdom is readily available to us through fellowship with Him and time spent in His Word. 

Thank you Lord for Your wisdom. I cannot depend on my limited wisdom when faced with situations. I need wisdom from above to be the catalyst for everything I say and do. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
