We're in the midst of a crisis, the walls are closing in, we feel suffocated and there seems to be no solution. We've done all we can possibly do.......prayed, fasted, cried out to God, others have interceded for us but we simply cannot see a way out. We seem to be losing the battle! It's at this point that we need to stand still, do absolutely nothing and watch as God works on our behalf and gives us the victory. Our Heavenly Father is with us.

The Word of God is filled with accounts where God delivered His people from perils and trials. As we meditate on it, our trust and faith is built up and we can rest in the assurance that if God could do it for them, He can certainly do it again for us. As we take our position and stand still, we need to relinquish everything to Him, our fears, our insecurities, our concerns and simply watch Him lift us out of our circumstance into something brand new. It's not easy to stand still if our minds are racing ahead of us, still trying to fix the problem, but if we will take our hands off and recognize that this battle we're in belongs to God, victory will be ours. He will not fail us.

Thank you Lord for fighting my battles. I cannot do it on my own. I give it all to you, Lord Jesus. Help me to remain calm, steadfast and rooted in You, Lord. I thank you for answered prayer. I love you Jesus. Amen!
