Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into His glorious presence without a single fault.

Jude 1:24 NLT Bible

Our ability to live pleasing, acceptable and godly lives hinges on our reliance and dependency on God. As believers, we are always at risk for stumbling when we rely on our own strength, but when we surrender to God, He is able to keep us from falling away. We must do our part by deepening our relationship with Him, through prayer and immersion in His Word. This gives us the fuel needed to ward off the attacks of the enemy who never lets up and is always on the prowl, seeking to throw us off course in our walk with God.

We don't know what we can encounter in any given day, so it is important to begin each day in surrender to God, thanking Him for His power and protection to keep us away from people, things or situations that can lure us into wrongdoing. God's desire is to keep us faultless until that glorious day when we enter into His eternal presence. If we are walking with God, we don't have to live in fear of falling away. He will fill us with His love, power, strength and determination to help us stay on the straight and narrow path. 

Thank you Lord for Your strength and power. On my own, I would stumble and fall away, but You keep me grounded and on the right path. My desire is to draw closer and closer to you each day. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
