We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character.

We all experience adversity! It's inevitable, but what really matters is how we handle these difficult times. These trials may come in many forms, but regardless of what we face, we need to keep trusting and believing in Almighty God. Every time we experience adversity, we have the opportunity to become stronger, wiser, more mature and to develop our character, but we must have the right attitude in the midst of this trial. We cannot complain and moan about our situation, but instead should regard it as a teachable moment from God and see what He wants us to learn from it.

Adversity reveals our true character, our true friends, our weaknesses and our strengths. It causes us to bare our souls before God, crying out for help and letting Him know that we are totally dependent on Him. We are drawn into a closer and deeper relationship with God as we lean on Him, believe in Him and trust in HIm. We develop strength of character that we never knew we had and this fills us with hope that God will see us through to victory and also leaves us better equipped and more resilient to face the next struggle that comes our way.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. I'm experiencing adversity in my life right now, but my faith, hope, trust and dependency is in you alone. I know that when it's over, I will be a stronger and wiser person. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
