SUNDAY INSPIRATION and PRAYER

One night The Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent! For I am with you."

Acts 18:9-10

We are all called to be disciples of Jesus and often, the only way for people to know that He loves them and died for their sins is if we tell them. This means that we cannot remain silent, while those around us are lost. We must speak up and share our faith. Oftentimes, we are afraid to do so because people may scoff and laugh at us, challenge what we're saying or possibly ostracize us. Just as The Lord urged Paul to speak up, promising to be with him, we can do the same today, knowing that He is always with us.

 

Some of us may not even remember the last time we told someone about Jesus. We live in an age where there's an urgency to share Jesus and we cannot let opportunities pass us by due to fear or because we think people may not be interested. Our duty is simply to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and allow God to stir hearts and bring about change. We have to stand up, speak out and share our faith and even if it means we stand alone, there's no cause for fear because our Lord is with us.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. You are my God and I want everyone to know about Your love and goodness. Help me to be bold and to use every opportunity to share my faith , regardless of the personal cost. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
