Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.

It's fairly easy to identify a tree by the fruit it produces and in the same manner, it's easy to identify people for who they claim to be by their words and actions. We cannot profess to be followers of Jesus Christ and live as we please, while disregarding His teachings. There must be evidence of Him in our lives, in the way we talk, walk and act. Our actions must reflect our belief in Almighty God. Love, joy, peace, gentleness and goodness must be visible at all times. People around us are listening and watching and our behaviour can impact their decision to enter into a relationship with Jesus

We've all seen people who claim to love God being dishonest, easily angered, disrespectful, rude and unkind to others. In fact, we may even be guilty of this. In times of adversity, instead of trusting God, we allowed ourselves to be consumed with fear, doubt and despair, while others looked on and we ended up hindering our credibility as true followers of Almighty God. If we want to bear fruit for Jesus, we must remain connected to Him. It's the only way to truly live for Him and be effective witnesses of His goodness and grace.

Thank you Lord for Your love and grace. My desire is to live for you, to be an example in all I say and do, to let my actions reflect You and to always show love, kindness, and compassion to those around me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
