SUNDAY INSPIRATION and PRAYER

May The Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by The Lord.

Ruth 2:12 NIV Bible

In this verse Boaz is thanking and blessing Ruth for all that she did for her widowed mother in law, Naomi, who had also lost both sons and was left to fend for herself. His wish was for God to richly reward and bless Ruth. So many of us have also been helped by people along the way, causing us to get to where we are. There are those who may have encouraged us, believed in us when no one else did, pushed us when we felt like giving up, comforted us in times of grief, inspired us, offered us hope and always a shoulder to lean on. We've had friends who have prayed for us, cried with us, laughed with us, opened their homes to us, shared meals with us and simply put, have always been there for us.

We cannot forget to thank them for their kindness, goodness and love towards us. Without it, we would not be where we are today. All too often, we forget those who have impacted our lives in profound and meaningful ways. It could be anyone.......a family member, a teacher, a friend, a co-worker or even a stranger, but they've played a part in helping us get to where we are today. We should never forget to appreciate, love and thank them for all they've done for us! When we do this, God is pleased, people know how much they've affected our lives and blessings follow them. This is what happened for Ruth. Her compassion and love for Naomi resulted in abundant blessings from God for the rest of her life.

Thank you Lord for the people who've helped me along the way. Let me never forget to thank them for all they've done for me. Bless them with every good thing and cause them to prosper in all they do. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
